LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. – A Lancaster County man will serve up to 20 years in state prison for forcing sex acts upon a young boy. Walter Lee Barron, 32, of Peach Bottom, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Lancaster County Court to felony sex crimes regarding the contact seven years ago in a Millersville home.

Judge David Ashworth ordered Barron to serve 8 to 20 years in prison, followed by 10 years of probation. Assistant District Attorney Karen Mansfield and Barron’s defense team agreed on the sentence in exchange for the plea, with approval from the victim.

As part of the sentence, Barron was also ordered to have no contact with the victim and register his whereabouts with police, under Megan’s Law, for the rest of his life
