LANCASTER, Pa. – Lancaster Police investigate 5th shooting within two weeks in the city and the victim is less than cooperative.

Officers responded to a report of shots at about 9:47 pm Thursday, in the first block of Crystal Park. While police were rushing to the area, it was reported that a male had just arrived at the nearby Lancaster Regional Medical Center with a gunshot wound.

Other officers responded to LRMC and spoke to the victim, an unidentified 18 year old man. He had suffered a non-life threatening single gunshot wound to his left shoulder.The victim told several different stories regarding how he got shot. He also reluctant to provide any suspect information or description.

In another interview with Detectives the victim provided different details of the incident than what he originally told the officers. The exact location of where the shooting occurred is unknown at this time.
