SPRINGETTSBURY, Pa. - The Harley-Davidson plant in Springettsbury Township, York County is again hosting its annual open house weekend. The free event offers bike lovers a chance to take tours of the factory and jump onto Harley's newest hogs to go for a quick spin. Harley is also giving riders a chance to experience their brand new electric motorcycle prototype.

"Newer to this year's event is Project LiveWire series," Harley Communications Manager Bernadette Lauer said, "and what that is, is our first electric motorcycle prototype, and people will be able to sit on it, they'll be able to start it up and actually experience what it feels like to ride an electric motorcycle."

Harley-Davidson is also giving bike fans the opportunity to see motorcycles straight from the movie sets of Hollywood films Captain America and Age of Ultron.
