DENVER, Pa. -  Radio announcements, app updates, billboards and signs are all being used to warn drivers about potential traffic jams on the Turnpike. People are taking the interstate to see Pope Francis in Philadelphia. Katie Zinkham from Travel for Teens is taking 65 people from Academy of Sacred Heart, in Louisiana, to see the Pope.

"So we’ve partnered with them before and actually led a couple trips, throughout Europe following different saint routes. So, she gave us a call whenever the Pope announced he was coming here and asked if we could host them up here so," said Zinkham.

The group is attending Sunday's mass.

"I think it’s great. It actually brings tears to my eyes. All of us, in the office, were jumping up and down that we actually get to attend mass with him," said Zinkham.

Zinkham stopped at the Bowmansville rest stop for some food. Turnpike officials advised people to stop there instead of going to Valley Forge. Some people, at the stop, were not headed to Philadelphia for the Pope.

Ayuri Jamison just turned 13! For his birthday, he wants to unwrap a real Philly cheesesteak.

"We want to go down to south Philly. So that’s where we are going to head to. Ishkabibble Cheesesteaks, down south Philly, got the best. And also Max's, Max's North Philly, Germantown, got the best cheese steaks, said his dad, Abdullah.

Turnpike officials do advise drivers to stay off of the Turnpike unless they are going to Philadelphia.
