EPHRATA, Pa.– Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with a stabbing in Ephrata, Lancaster County on Friday night.

23-year old Gavin Rea, of Ephrata is facing Aggravated Assault and Simple Assault charges. 27-year old Ceasar Sanchez, of Lancaster, has been charged with Simple Assault, Defiant Trespass and Harassment.

The stabbing happened late Friday night, in the backyard of a home on the 100-block of Church Avenue. Police say the men got into a fight that stemmed from each believing that the other was interfering with their relationship with a woman.

According to police, Rea stabbed Sanchez in the chest with a steak knife. Sanchez was treated and released from Lancaster General Hospital.

This stabbing was one of three in Lancaster County on Friday night and early Saturday morning. One of the other incidents happened on the 200-block of Howard Avenue in Lancaster around 11 p.m. The third stabbing took place around 4 a.m. Saturday in Manheim Township, when a man suffered several stab wounds and pulled into the Turkey Hill on Richmond Drive seeking help.
