FRIDAY RAIN CHANCES: A cold front approaching from the west brings rain chances to the region for the first time in several days. This morning is dry, with a mixture of clouds and sunshine. The rest of Friday brings thickening clouds, with some showers arriving to the west and northwest around noon. Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms move across the region through the rest of the afternoon. There a small chance any storms that form could produce strong wind gusts. We’re dry by the evening. Highs are warm, in the middle 70s to near 80 degrees. Skies are mostly clear tonight, with overnight lows in the upper 40s to lower 50s.
WEEKEND OUTLOOK: Cooler temperatures and sunshine are back for the weekend. Saturday is our coolest day, and skies are partly cloudy. Expect abundant sunshine Sunday, along with seasonable temperatures. You can expect readings in the middle to upper 60s.
NEXT WEEK: Warming continues on Monday with plenty of sunshine. Highs are in the lower to middle 70s. Temperatures fall to near 70 degrees as a cold front passes through early Tuesday. This could bring a few morning showers. The middle of the week is cooler with a mixture of sunshine and clouds. Highs are in the middle 60s.
