86 year old woman drives car through Hampton Inn in Camp Hill

CAMP HILL, Pa. — Police responded to the Hampton Inn along  3700 block of Carlisle Pike Wednesday morning after an elderly woman drove her car through the hotel.

The accident happened just after 9:00 a.m. when an 86-year-old woman, for unknown reasons, lost control and drove her car  through the room in the lobby where the hotel has their continental breakfast.

Authorities say people were in the room at the time of the accident. 2 people are reported to have injuries and were transported to Holy Spirit Hospital.

The driver refused treatment, and told police she was fine.

Police are on scene reconstructing the accident and investigating the cause.
