LANCASTER, Pa- Lancaster Police arrested a York man after he led police on a short chase through Lancaster City.

Police officers say around at about 8:45 Wednesday night they began following  Jason Howe, 34, after he was seen running over a curb, almost striking a school building and running multiple stop signs.

Then just before 9:00 p.m. ,Howe was involved in an accident at N. Ann and Fulton Streets. Howe  struck another vehicle from behind causing both vehicles to spin out of control and strike a total of five parked vehicles.

The driver of the vehicle that was rear ended was transported to the hospital with minor leg injuries.

Howe appeared to be under the influence police said.

He is now being charged with Fleeing and Eluding, DUI, Recklessly Endangering another person.
