YORK, Pa.-- Taste and tradition came together in York on Sunday.
The 41st Annual Oyster Festival was held at the Agricultural and Industrial Museum.

Those who came out for the festival got the chance to enjoy thousands of stewed, nude and fried oysters from Henry's Seafood, along with wine and beer and live music.

The festival is a leading fundraiser for the York County Heritage Trust.

"It's a major fundraiser for the Trust, it helps to support the exhibits and the programs at our various museums. It also helps with educational programs, which we use a ton of volunteers," says Lauren Mohr, Manager of Special Events at the York County Heritage Trust.

Many demonstrations were also put on for the crowds to see at the festival.
They also got to enjoy other foods, including steamed shrimp, pork barbecue, and apple fritters for dessert.
