ANOTHER COLD NIGHT
After a morning with lows in the upper 20’s to lower to mid 30’s, we’ll see more areas colder in the morning with clearing skies and high pressure building in from the west.
The breeze will settle and allow for temperatures to take a dive overnight. Once again a FREEZE WARNING is in effect for Monday 3AM to 9AM.
Protect any tender vegetation from potential damage. Potted plants should be brought inside for the night to avoid being damaged or killed. Low’s below freezing once again will likely end the growing season. We had several areas of light showers and even sleet today but with high pressure migrating in from the lower Ohio Valley and settling just to our south by Monday morning, we’ll see more sunshine and dry conditions for the start of the week. Afternoon temperatures will continue below average only warming to the low to mid 50’s. However, we will see a warming trend back to the 60’s Tuesday and even 70’s Wednesday and Thursday.
LITTLE CHANCE FOR RAIN
We’ll enjoy several dry, mainly sunny days until a weak, moisture starved cold front arrives late Thursday. It may trigger isolated showers but nothing more. It will knock temperatures down by several days as we round out the work week. High temperatures will return to near average in the low to mid 60’s heading into the weekend with isolated showers returning on Sunday.
