PALMYRA, Pa -- Police in Palmyra are looking for a driver who struck and critically injured a woman and then drove away before police arrived. It happened around 10:38pm in the 400 block of East Cherry Street. The victim, identified as 52-year-old Lisa Thomas, of Palmyra, was taken by Life Lion to Hershey Medical Center with life threatening injuries. As of 4 p.m., she is listed in critical condition.
The hit and run driver is believed to be a white male, wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. He was driving a black 4-door sedan with a loud exhaust.
The car is believed to have windshield damage and a deployed driver-side airbag.
