Terminally ill police dog gets heartbreaking but heartfelt send off

Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is difficult for anyone, but Argo, a police K-9 in Texas received a special send off.

Argo served with the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office and was partnered with LT Francisco Guerrero as a drug sniffing dog.

Argo was diagnosed with bone cancer. After his pain became too much, and the cancer had spread all over his body, the difficult decision was made to end his suffering.

He was honored with the traditional “Last Call” given to officers who pass in the line of duty.
