ALLENTOWN, PA – Five students in Lehigh County were arrested after a brawl outside an Allentown high school that ended with four Allentown police officers injured.

Cell phone videos captured the incident.

The Allentown Morning Call reported the fight began Thursday around 3pm between two female students.  As Allen High School students were walking home, the fight drew a crowd of nearly 200 other students.

When police tried to break up the fight, a third student grabbed an officer and pulled her to the ground.

She then punched the officer.

Two other students got involved in the melee and were arrested.

One officer was diagnosed with a concussion, the female officer from the video may also have suffered a concussion. Two other officers were treated for minor injuries and were back on the job Friday.

The five juveniles were charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, disorderly conduct, and rioting.

Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin said more juveniles may be charged for failing to disperse when ordered by police
