PALMYRA, Pa. -- A 52-year-old woman died Friday from injuries sustained after she was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Lebanon County last month.
Lisa Thomas, of Palmyra, was struck by a vehicle shortly before 10:40 p.m. on Oct. 21 along the 400 block of East Cherry Street in Palmyra.
Thomas was taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center, where she later died.
Investigators continue to search for the driver, who fled the accident scene. Police describe the suspect's vehicle as a black four-door sedan with a loud exhaust. The vehicle may have a damaged windshield and deployed driver side airbag, police said.
