Closings & Delays

HARRISBURG, Pa. –  The Harrisburg School Districts reports that due to a plumbing issue, Camp Curtin Academy and Capital Area Head Start will be closed on Wednesday.

According to a late evening release, District officials, maintenance director/team and a local plumbing contractor are working diligently to resolve the matter in a timely and expeditious manner. Students will return on Thursday.

Additionally, the EXPLORE After School Program will be canceled for Wednesday.

The Harrisburg School District has notified parents and guardians of Camp Curtin students of this matter via its School Messenger system.

A persistent sewer problem in October also forced the District to close the school for several days.
