HARRISBURG, Pa.–Police are looking for a man and woman who allegedly scammed an elderly woman out of a large amount of money in Harrisburg last month.

The theft occurred in the parking of the Giant at the Kline Plaza on Oct. 13.

The 90-year-old woman told police she was approached by a well-dressed woman who claimed she had just found a wallet and needed help. At the same time, a man in his 50’s or 60’s joined the conversation and the couple scammed the elderly victim out of a large amount of money, police said.

Investigators are looking into whether the suspects are local or may be from out of the area.

On Friday, police released surveillance photos of the male suspect.
