BEVERLY, MA — It started with a stomach ache and a trip to the hospital…and ended with a baby!
Judy Brown, 47, said she had no idea she was pregnant. She told WCVB that she assumed the changes her body had been going through, were menopause.
On Wednesday she started having severe abdominal pain, and asked her husband to take her to the hospital.
An ultrasound revealed she was pregnant -and ready to give birth!
Eight pound Carolyn Rose was delivered soon after. She was born perfectly healthy, even though mom had no idea she was on the way.
Judy and her husband Jason, 48, have been married 22 years.
They said their approach to having children had always been, “If it happens, it happens.”
The couple says their daughter will be an only child.
