Police warn parents to check candy in Lower Paxton Township

LOWER PAXTON, TWP, Pa- After a tampered piece of candy was brought   into police on Thursday, police are warning parents to check their children’s trick-or-treat candy.

Police say a resident in Lower Paxton Township found a piece of metal inside a bite-sized Almond Joy candy bar their  child received during trick-or-treat night last Thursday on Balthaser Street near Koons Park.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lower Paxton Township Police Department at 717-657-5656.
