Three suspects identified, arrest warrants issued in assault of Southern Regional Police Officer
YORK COUNTY, Pa. – Southern Regional Police have identified and obtained arrest warrants for the three people involved in the assault on Officer Michael Storeman in Glen Rock Borough last Wednesday.
Warrants of arrest have been obtained for:
Roberto Fabian Tabares, age 38, 10127 Reprise Dr, Rockville, Maryland. He is an Hispanic male, 175 pounds, 6 feet 3 inches tall, with brown eyes and black hair.
David Robert Achstetter, age 36, 401 Palmsprings Dr, Gaithersburg, Maryland, Achstetter is a white male, 180 pounds, 5 feet 10 inches tall with hazel eyes and brown hair.
Charges against the pair include: Aggravated Assault, Hindering Apprehension or prosecution, Unlawful restraint, Simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and criminal mischief.
Investigators say Tabares was the driver and Achstetter was the front seat passenger of a black 2011 Toyota Camry 4 door with Maryland registration 4AG6940. Both men are to be considered arm and dangerous.
Jenny Kim, Asian, age 38, is 5 feet, 3 inches tall, 140 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair, was in the back seat and is wanted for questioning. No charges have been filed against Kim.
Officer Michael Storeman was called to investigate suspicious people in a vehicle. The vehicle was parked in the parking lot of a convenience atore in Glen Rock. When Officer Storeman, arrived he located the vehicle parked on Water Street. He walked toward the vehicle and noticed a female slumped over in the back and two male subjects in the front. The male subjects began to make movements and Officer Storeman attempted to open the passenger door.
The passenger, Achstetter, grabbed Officer Storeman’s arm and pulled him towards the vehicle while the driver, Tabares, rapidly accelerated. Officer Storeman was dragged approximately 50 feet down Water Street. His body struck a stopped vehicle causing him to slide across the roadway. He was taken to the York Hospital Trauma Room and was later discharged with multiple injuries.
