BREEZY DAYS AHEAD: A cool and breezy air mass is entering the region in the wake of this morning’s cold front. Winds stay breezy through the night, and skies are partly clear. Temperatures cool into the 40s across the region. On Friday, some sunshine begins the day. Chilly air aloft slides in quickly during the afternoon, and this brings clouds. Weekend Outlook

Chilly air and breezy conditions are expected for the first half of the weekend.

WEEKEND CHILL: The chilliest of the air sits over top of us through Saturday. Expect plenty of clouds, and a few lake effect sprinkles and flakes could make it into our northwestern most areas. Highs are very chilly, in the middle to upper 40s. More sunshine returns for Sunday. Temperatures are more seasonable, in the lower to middle 50s.

NEXT WEEK: Monday, plenty of sunshine continues, and more warming ensues. High temperatures jump into the 60s. Partly cloudy skies are expected for Tuesday, and readings remain well above seasonable high temperatures for this time of year. Thursday is our next chance for showers. Highs are close to 70 degrees by then.

Have a great night!
