LANCASTER, Pa- Police are  investigating a  Wednesday night shooting that left one man wounded.

According to  police, the shooting took place just after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday along the 500 block of S. Christian street.

Police say they found a 22-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to his left hip/buttocks.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries. Police say the victim is not cooperating with investigators and refuses to provide officials with any information.

Through investigation police believe the victim had been fighting with  another male when the male pulled out a handgun and fired several shots, one of them hitting the victim.

The suspect fled the scene in a green sedan police said. The suspect is being described as a black male in his late to early twenties, dark skin complexion, with a medium build.
