LANCASTER, Pa. –  A youth soccer treasurer is charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition and Access Device Fraud. The arrest of 26 year old Katrina L. Rynier, of East Earl followed a two week investigation by New Holland Borough Police.

Rynier was the volunteer treasurer for the Garden Spot Youth Soccer Club in 2014 and 2015. As the treasurer she had access to the Garden Spot Youth Soccer Club’s credit card. Rynier made 388 unauthorized purchases on the credit card between August 15, 2014 and September 30, 2015 totaling $20,980.19.

Garden Spot Youth Soccer Club Officials discovered the unauthorized purchases during a transition to a new treasurer. The GSYSC officals performed an audit and discovered the unauthorized purchases on the credit card and contacted the New Holland Police Depart.

Rynier was interviewed by NHPD on Wednesday, November 18, and admitted to the unauthorized purchases. Following arraignment on the charges she was released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
