LANCASTER, Pa.–A 29-year-old man plead guilty Monday to stabbing a Lancaster man to death in October 2014.
Ernie Rivera-Gonzalez plead guilty to third-degree murder in the stabbing death of 31-year-old Alex Vazquez-Dones.
Vazquez-Dones was stabbed in the chest along Stevens Avenue on Oct. 5, 2014 and later died at Lancaster General Hospital.
Police said Rivera-Gonzalez left his wallet, with photo identification inside, at the scene of the stabbing. He was arrested eleven days later in Connecticut.
Rivera-Gonzalez will serve 14 to 35 years in state prison, in accordance with a plea agreement arranged by Assistant District Attorney Christine Wilson.
