A QUICK BREAK: We try to hang on to high pressure to squeeze out one more dry day and to get a quick break from the damp weather on Monday. Cooler air will also continue to be felt across south-central Pennsylvania with afternoon high temperatures reaching into the mid 40s.

SHOWERS RETURN: A stationary front draped from the mid-Atlantic through the Tennessee and Lower Mississippi Valleys will join forces with a new stronger system moving out of the inter-mountain West on Monday. A little bit of sun to start the day Monday, but clouds increase throughout the day, leading to a few showers to spread in from the south Monday night. The next round for rain is expected on Tuesday. Low pressure tracking from the central Plains toward the Great Lakes will bring periods of rain early Tuesday, lasting into Wednesday. We begin to dry Wednesday evening. Highs both Tuesday and Wednesday are held to near 50 degrees.

LATE WEEK: Behind the Tuesday showers, high pressure builds back in on Thursday and into the weekend with a return of seasonable temperatures. Expect highs through the latter half of the week near 50 with overnight lows in the low 30s. Not too bad to start the month of December!

Have a great week!
