HARRISBURG, Pa. – A Mexican citizen, deported three times over a ten year period for illegal re-entry to the United States, is headed to prison. Miguel Salazar-Gomez, 33, was sentenced to 21 months in prison by federal judge Sylvia H. Rambo in Harrisburg for illegally re-entering the United States.
According to the United States Attorney, Salazar-Gomez pleaded guilty in September 2015. At that time, he also admitted to illegally re-entering the United States after having previously been deported in 2004, 2005 and 2014. Salazar was arrested last March in Adams County and taken into the custody by Homeland Security agents.
