LOWER ALLEN TOWNSHIP, Pa.–Police are warning residents in Lower Allen Township after a package was stolen off a porch on Monday evening.
The theft happened along the 100 block of Winston Drive around 5:32 p.m.
Police said a man stopped at the residents home to solicit construction services and was seen taking the package. The man was later seen in the same neighborhood soliciting door to door.
Investigators are trying to identify the man who was soliciting for home repairs and the company he was working for. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 717-238-9676 or Cumberland County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-628-8477.
