After partly sunny skies this morning, most of the clouds disappear this afternoon.
The skies clear because a strong area of high pressure heads toward us.
This area of high pressure keeps our winds light all weekend.
Today, highs climb to 50--about five degrees above average.
Tonight, with clear skies, we drop to freezing.
Then, with the area of high pressure right over us on Saturday, we’ll have completely sunny skies and highs in the mid 50s.
Mid 50s encore on Sunday as the sunshine continues.
On Monday, we’ll still have mostly sunny skies, but highs go back down to the low 50s.
This happens because a weak cold front crosses over us Sunday night.
We'll still have highs in the low 50s on Tuesday, but we'll have a lot of clouds in the sky.
The clouds from some rain passing to our east—just off the New Jersey coast.
Look for partly sunny skies on Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the upper 40s.
Next Friday, we'll have a high of 50 and more partly sunny skies.
