YORK CITY, PA- At least 10 people are out of a home this morning after a fire broke out inside a duplex in York city.
Fire officials say it happened just before 7:30 a.m. Wednesday along the 700 block of West Princess Street.
York City Fire Chief said the duplex was divided into apartments with most of the damage in the back of the house.
At least 5 adults and 5 children were inside the home at the time.
Everyone was able to get out of the home safely however two dogs are currently being treated for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The American Red Cross is now assisting the families.
The fire was caused by electrical malfunction to a freezer to the rear of the house fire officials said.
