JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Penn State Football team is gearing up for the Taxslayer Bowl in Florida where they will face Georgia  on Saturday. It's their first match-up  since the 1983 Sugar Bowl. The team is basking in the sunshine of Jacksonville, which is otherwise known as Penn State South. The city is the home of the Jaguars, and it's not uncommon to see their NFL roster with former Nittany Lions.

"It's awesome," Jaguars Linebacker Paul Posluszny said,  "we have a great group of Penn Staters down here, all the guys contribute and play at a high level, it's nice to have a group of guys like that down here with us."

There are four key contributors on the team that used to play in Happy Valley.

"It's pretty cool, once they added Jared [Odrick] in the off-season," Jaguars Wide Receiver Allen Robinson said, "I mean it's pretty cool. The whole time I've been here we've had a lot of Penn State guys, we had [Linebacker Nate] Stupar come thru here, we had Mickey Shuler, we had a decent deal of guys."

Robinson is tied for the league lead in touchdowns with 14. The Nittany Lions are hoping he will be available to fire up the crowds at Friday's pep rally.

Defensive Lineman Jared Odrick says the experience for Penn Staters should be a balance of fun and football. He says he will cheering for our home team.

"I'm a huge Penn State fan," Odrick said, "I'm watching every game that I am not practicing, rooting hard for those guys, I support them, I'll be a fan until I die."
