YORK TWP, Pa- At least 30 people are without a home in York County after their apartment complex went up in flames.
Fire officials say the fire broke out around 1:30 Wednesday morning at the York Apartments in York Township.
They say the fire started in a first floor bedroom then quickly spread to the second floor, causing damage to several units.
One firefighter was taken to the hospital with a minor injury but is expected to be okay.
Fire officials are estimating around 1 million dollars in damages.
Officials say it appears a malfunctioning humidifier or electrical cord caused the fire.
The Red Cross is now assisting those who have been displaced.
