LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. – An Akron man is behind bars on child rape charges. Ephrata Police charged Jay Edwin Horning, 27, on Thursday with Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Rape, Rape of a Child and Unlawful Contact with a minor.
The charges are result of an investigation into Horning allegedly having inappropriate contact with a minor child. The offenses occurred approximately 10 years ago.
Following arraignment, Horning was sent to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $500,000 bail.
