LANCASTER, Pa.–A Lititz man who downloaded child pornography on his work and home computers was sentenced to serve 2 to 4 years in prison.
Peter E. Jacobs, 59, will also serve six years on probation following jail time, in accordance with a plea agreement.
Jacobs, 59, plead guilty to five felony counts, according to Assistant District Attorney Janie Swinehart, who prosecuted the case.
Jacobs also must register his whereabouts, under Megan’s Law, for the rest of his life.
Police were notified of the lewd material after a co-worker caught Jacobs looking at child pornography at their building materials business in Leola, prosecutors said.
Police found 40 images of child pornography on the work computer and an additional 71 images on Jacobs’ home computer.
Jacobs admitted to viewing the pornography at work and home.
