16-year old girl wanted in connection to York shooting

YORK, Pa.– Police say an 18-year-old man is in critical condition at York Hospital after being shot in the head on Saturday morning.

According to police, Shyheim McDowell was found unresponsive with the wound to the head around 9:52 a.m., when officers were called to 325 Girard Avenue.

The teen was immediately taken to York Hospital and is listed in critical condition.

Several hours later, police obtained an arrest warrant for a 16-year old girl, in connection with the crime. They are searching for Hydiea Banks, also of York. At this time her whereabouts are unknown, police said. Banks is being charged as an adult and is facing Attempted Criminal Homicide charges.

Police have  also released a photo of a man wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting. The man seen in this photo was last seen with Banks. Police say the man walks with a limp.
