SUSQUEHANNA TOWNSHIP, Pa.–A 22-year-old man wanted out of Scranton for robbing a bank was captured in Susquehanna Township on Thursday night.

Chayse A. Filler, of Thompsontown, was found hiding out in a hotel in Dauphin County, according to police reports. He is charged with two counts of robbery, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Filler is currently Dauphin County Prison awaiting extradition to Scranton.

Officers responded to the NBT Bank along the 100 block of  Meadow Avenue in Scranton around 2 p.m. Thursday  for a bank robbery. The suspect, later identified as Filler, demanded cash from the teller and then fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police say Filler admitted to robbing the bank to support his drug habit.
