LANCASTER, Pa.–Lancaster police are continuing to investigate a shooting Saturday that left a 24-year-old man wounded.
Officers responded to the first block of West Strawberry Street in Lancaster city for a report of a person who had been shot in the stomach shortly after 9 p.m.
The 24-year-old victim was taken to to a local hospital for treatment. He suffered a gunshot wound to his abdomen and upper thigh.
Police say the suspect and the victim knew each other and this was not a random act of violence. Investigators have not yet released the identity of the suspect.
