HARRISBURG, Pa.–Two schools within the Harrisburg School District are closing early Tuesday due to the extreme cold, according to district spokeswoman Kristen Keys.
Camp Curtin Academy, Capital Area Head Start at Camp Curtin and John Harris High School are dismissing early. Students are expected to return to school on Wednesday. The closing only affects two buildings and not the entire school district, Keys said.
Additionally, the EXPLORE After School Program at these two schools will be canceled for today.
The Harrisburg School District has notified parents and guardians of students at Camp Curtin Academy and John Harris High School via its School Messenger system.
