MT. HOLLY SPRINGS, Pa.–A man found dead in Mt. Holly Springs on Sunday died from hypothermia and atherosclerosis cardiovascular disease, according to the Cumberland County Coroner’s Office.
Lloyd McCorkel, 66, of Carlisle, was found in a snowbank around 9 p.m. near the Dollar General store.
Coroner Charley Hall said McCorkel was trying to get equipment for snow removal when his truck became stuck in the snow. He suffered a cardiac event and collapsed while he was walking, Hall said.
He attributed McCorkel’s death to the storm and ruled it accidental.
