York City announces snow removal schedule for Wednesday

Mayor Kim Bracey has announced that snow removal will take place on the following streets in downtown York. Traffic will be restricted during this operation and No Parking restrictions will be in place. Removal operations will begin on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 7:00 P.M.

All snow will be removed in the street along the curbline.

CITY OF YORK SNOW HAULING SCHEDULE

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 27, 2016 (Starting at 7:00 P.M.

West Philadelphia Street – From Pershing Avenue to Carlisle Avenue

If time allows: West Market Street – From Carlisle Avenue heading east

The Snow Emergency remains in effect so all cars should be off the street.

Snow Hauling will continue nightly from 7:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M.

Streets closings and No Parking restrictions will be in place.
