CITY OF LANCASTER SNOW REMOVAL SCHEDULE

Snow removal along the entire length of all snow emergency routes has been completed. Travel lanes on all side streets in all neighborhoods have been opened. To report anything that may have been missed, please contact Streets Department at 717-291-4835.

Thursday, January 28th, clean-up in underway across the City. Work crews, each with a backhoe and 2 dump trucks, are stationed in 12 City sectors and the Downtown. Each crew is removing snow piles at intersections and clearing curb cuts for passage.

Residents are reminded to clear sidewalks for safe passage.

The School District of Lancaster has made school parking lots available for use by residents. Vehicles must be removed from those lots by 4 PM, January 31. Metered parking and permit parking enforcement has been suspended until Monday, the 31st.

CITY OF YORK SNOW REMOVAL SCHEDULE

Snow removal will take place on the following streets in downtown York. Traffic will be restricted during this operation and No Parking restrictions will be in place. Removal operations will begin on Friday at 7P.M.  All snow will be removed on the street along the curbline.

Queen Street from Market Street south to Cottage Place

The Snow Emergency remains in effect so all cars should be off the street. Residents can follow www.yorkcity.org for additional information.

BOROUGH OF COLUMBIA

Snow will be removed from the following streets on Friday, beginning at 7:30 am. Snow will be removed from the streets in the order as they appear and will continue as long as time allows.

Locust Street 5th to 9th

Walnut Street 5th to 9th

Chestnut Street 5th to 9th

Perry Street

The following Streets will be cleared by PennDOT Crews:

Remainder of 9th Street beginning at 4:30 am

S. 11th Street 462 to Manor

S. 12th Street 462 to Manor

Residents must move their vehicles so complete snow removal may be accomplished
