LANCASTER, Pa-  Lancaster police are investigating after they found a 30-year-old man shot to death early Thursday evening.

According to police, the shooting happened in the area of Shippen and Howard Ave just before 5:30 p.m. When officers arrived on scene they found Lancaster man lying in the street with an apparent gun shot wound to the head.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators questioned witnesses and after viewing video surveillance footage they determined that the victim was involved in a verbal argument with two males prior to the shooting.

The two suspects are being described as two medium dark-skinned males wearing dark clothing.

Police say the shooting does not appear to be a random act.
