APRIL-LIKE WEATHER: We had April-like weather on Sunday with highs in the 50s and 60s in central Pennsylvania. On Monday, we’ll get highs in the 50s before a cold front gets us. The cold front will bring a few showers in the morning. On Tuesday, we’ll have highs in the 40s because of the effects of the cold front.

MIDWEEK SOAKER: We’ll have a wet Wednesday with a half of an inch to an inch of rain on the way. Add highs in the mid 50s, and we’ll met a lot of snow. Expect some flooding or ponding on the streets and in poor drainage areas–particularly where snow currently covers up storm drains. Don’t worry about flooding on the creeks and streams.

COOLER END TO THE WEEK: We’ll wrap up the week with partly sunny skies and highs near 40 for Thursday through Sunday. We’ll also keep an eye on next week because the computer weather models we use to forecast show a coastal snow storm. This far out, we can’t bet on that. In fact, we can’t even tell which day, but the models have showed something “up river” for a few days now, and I suspect a snow storm will “wash down the river” at some point next week. And, no–we would not get nearly as much snow as last week if we get that snow storm.
