UPDATE: Woman killed in Route 30 crash

MANHEIM TWP., Pa- Manheim Township Police say a woman was killed in a single-car crash on Route 30 in Lancaster County on Sunday morning.

Investigators say the crash happened at 6:56 a.m. when the driver, who was traveling eastbound on Route 283, lost control while merging onto Route 30.

The woman went up a snow bank, overturned and struck the center concrete median. She was ejected from her car, police said.

Route 30 east and Route 283 were closed for five hours while the crash was investigated.

The driver’s name has not yet been released.
