YORK COUNTY, Pa. – A sneeze is apparently the blame for a crash that knocked out power for hundreds of Met Ed customers in York County.  It happened just before 2:30 pm along the 3900 block of Mt. Pisgah Road, in Windsor Township.

Police say the female driver of a pickup claims to have sneezed and lost control of her vehicle.  The truck hit a utility pole splitting it into three pieces, knocking out power. The unidentified driver suffered minor injuries.

About 1500 Met Ed customers lost power as a result of the accident. Power is expected to be restored at about 5:00 this evening.
