CONEWAGO TOWNSHIP, Pa.–An 84-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after police say he threatened a radio station in Adams County.

Glenn E. Myers, of Littlestown, is charged with two counts of terroristic threats and harassment. He was arraigned and taken to Adams County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Myers went to WHVR 1280 AM located along the 200 block of Radio Road in Conewago Township shortly after 10 a.m. and began threatening violence because the Mount Joy Township Municipal Authority ordered him to pump his septic system, according to the criminal complaint.

Myers threatened the radio staff by saying if someone did not help him, bullets were going to fly, court records state.

Employees at the radio station called 911 and police arrested Myers in the lobby. Myers claimed citizens would revolt against the government upon learning of his incarceration, according to court documents.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 17.
