Fire damages auto repair shop in southern Lancaster County

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. – A two alarm causes extensive damage to an auto repair shop near Quarryville.  The fire broke out at about 1:51 pm at Meginley’s Auto Repair, 370 Buck Road, in East Drumore Township.

MEGINLEYS2Neighbors seeing smoke pouring from the roof of the building alerted the owner and employees. Everyone made it safely out of the building.

A second alarm was put in for more manpower. The fire was under control in about half an hour. The cause is under investigation.
