Hanover, PA — The Pennsylvania Game Commission is reporting that the Eagles have laid their first egg of the season. It happened around 3:15 this afternoon. Mother, father, and egg appear to be doing fine.
It typically takes 35 days for a Bald Eagle egg to hatch, so the egg is expected to hatch around March 24th. It will then take another 10-12 weeks for the baby to fly and leave the nest.
