QUIET END TO WEEK: Some clouds continue to linger throughout the region, but they break through the morning as building high pressure takes full control. The rest of the day brings more sunshine, but colder temperatures too. Afternoon highs are in the lower to middle 30s. Light winds make wind chill values feel like the 20s at times. Tonight begins mostly clear, but clouds build near daybreak as our next system approaches. Friday quickly becomes mostly cloudy. An evening sprinkle is possible, but the day is mainly dry. Highs are in the middle to upper 30s.
WEEKEND WARMING: Skies dry out Saturday, and it’s milder. Temperatures rise well into the lower 50s for many! Expect plentiful sunshine for the region, and just a few passing clouds. We could even stay near 50 on Sunday! Clouds build quickly Sunday ahead of our next system that could bring a few late day/evening showers and sprinkles.
UNSETTLED NEXT WEEK: Monday dries out temporarily, with more sunshine. Temperatures are still above average, in the lower to middle 40s. Tuesday brings mostly cloudy skies as we keep an eye on our next system. It could bring mixed precipitation to rain through Wednesday. Readings are in the middle to upper 30s Tuesday, and rise into the lower 40s Wednesday.
Have a great Thursday!
