SOUTH LONDONDERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A sanitation worker was struck and killed while picking up trash this morning. It happened around 5:48am on the 1100 block of Eby Road. Dale Glant, 51, of Lebanon, was pronounced dead at the scene. Glant was an employee of Weidle Sanitation and it was a Weidle Sanitation truck that struck him.
Eby Road was closed for several hours between Royal Road in Lebanon County and Meadow Lane in Dauphin County, while the accident was investigated.
