YORK TOWNSHIP, Pa.–A Maryland man wanted for retail theft was arrested Thursday following a brief police pursuit along Interstate 83 in York County, according to police reports.

Terrell Tittle, 48, of Baltimore is charged with retail theft, fleeing or attempting to elude police, possible sale, use or display of certificate of title, registration card, license plate or other documents and driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked.

Officers were dispatched to a robbery at Walgreens  in Springettsbury Township around 6:45 a.m.  The suspect’s description matched similar robberies that occurred recently in the York area, according to police reports.

Tittle was previously wanted for a theft that occurred on Feb. 21 at the Walgreen’s located at  2101 South Queen Street in York Township. In that case, he’s accused pointing a gun at a store employee after stealing a carton of cigarettes.

Officers with York Area Regional Police Department spotted Tittle’s vehicle along Interstate 83 near South Queen Street on Thursday morning. He was taken into custody following a brief police pursuit.

Pennsylvania State Police and Southern Regional Police Department assisted in the arrest.

Tittle was arraigned and taken to York County Central Booking.
