LEACOCK TWP., Pa – Weather conditions poised problems for firefighters in Leacock Township, Lancaster County on Wednesday night.

A fire started at a house along Irishtown Road around 8:00pm. The winds were so powerful crews could barely see where the smoke was coming from.

The ground was so saturated, on the gravel lane, back to the house that two fire trucks became stuck.

No one was home when the fire started. A State Police Fire Marshal is investigating. Lightning could have played a part.
